It features 6 elegant and secluded grass-thatched cottages spread over the hillside and tourists can relish the vast wild grounds with numerous exceptional bird species hence making it an ideal place for nature enthusiasts. These facilities have ensuite bathrooms with both cold and hot showers with flush toilets and lighting is solar-powered.

There is a large main area with a spacious restaurant with a number of items on the menu and well stocked bar offering an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Interestingly, tourists to this safari Lodge can access free Wi-Fi and several recharging terminals. Much as it is a new place to stay, it receives good reviews due to its affordable rates, serenity and excellent services as well as mouth-watering meals offered.

At sunset (evening), a campfire is set and visitors can relish a cold drink with friends or other guests amidst the warmth of a typical African Camp fire hence create unforgettable memories for the Uganda safaris. This Safari Lodge offers standard accommodation and excellent services at affordable rates.

Isunga Lodge is owned and managed by a Scottish couple. The location of the facility at the edge of Kibale Forest National Park makes it a perfect base for scenery viewing as well as invigorating activities like Chimpanzee tracking, nature walks or hiking, exploring the neighboring villages, visiting verdant vanilla and tea plantations, mountain biking, bird watching and other primate watching.  Interestingly, the Site is just 20 minutes drive away from Kanyanchu Visitor Center, the starting point for most tourist activities in the Park.

While at your cottage or room, you will be able to see the mist rising and blanketing over the dense jungles s you enjoy cup of coffee from the delicious Arabica coffee from the numerous coffee plantation found on the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains also known as the mountains of the Moon.

In conclusion, Isunga is a new mid-range accommodation facility offering 6 secluded and tranquil cottages to cater for the needs of all categories of tourists including leisure and business guests.
