Day 1: Pick up from Kampala/Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi Forest
On this day a driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe or from Entebbe Airport and start the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, this drive is long but worth it you will enjoy amazing sceneries and meet up with the local communities along the way. You will have a stop at the Equator for photographs, lunch in Mbarara, and other optional multiple stops depending on your request and time.
Drive time: 8-9 hours drive.
Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge/Buhoma Community Rest Camp
Day 2: Gorilla tracking Experience in Bwindi
After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides who will allocate you a gorilla family group you will trek on that day.
The gorilla trek always continues from the place where they were last seen the previous day. Upon reaching the area where these famous species are, you will only be allowed to interact with them for only one hour and you should always keep maximum silence while with these Gorillas. You are allowed to take photographs and so on.
Gorilla tracking can sometimes be strenuous depending on the trek that day which is normally determined by weather and the movement of the gorillas in the forest but given the fact it is a very well-organized activity you have a high chance of seeing the gorillas on your trek. The 2 ranger guides will lead you all through the trek.
After the trek, you will retrieve back to the starting point to pick up your certificates for having tracked the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After having breakfast, you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park with a stopover for lunch in Kasese or Fort Portal.
Kibale Forest National park is home to 13 species of primates and over 335 bird species making it a popular destination for birders and primates lovers.
Drive time: 4-5 hours drive
Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee guest house or Turaco Treetops Lodge
Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi wetland walk
You will have an early breakfast then drive to Kanyanchu head offices for a briefing about the track that you will be carrying out in a couple of hours. From there you will start the Chimpanzee tracking experience. You will be able to see 12 other different primate species like vervet monkeys, gray-cheeked mangabeys, baboons, and among others.
Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee guest house or Turaco Treetops Lodge
Day 5: Departure back to Kampala/Entebbe
In the early morning after breakfast, drive back to Kampala/Entebbe as it marks the end of the trip.
